1.  Talk To Your Family About Your Decision

​

If becoming an organ donor is important to you, let your family know, so they can help make important decisions if you are unable to communicate for yourself.

3. Register at the DMV

​

Dept. of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has partnered with Donate Life California. In renewing or receiving a driver's license, you can select to become an organ donor on your license application.  

2.  Register To Become an Organ Donor Through the Donate Life California Website

Visit the Donate Life California Registry website at http://www.donatelifecalifornia.org/  to sign up. 

​

4. Be a Living donor 

​

Living donors can donate kidneys and parts of lungs, livers, and intestines to transplant patients.
